The Magic Skirt

 Once upon a time, there lived a girl who went off to the mall just for a little casual shopping and while she was there she discovered a magical skirt! sheer tulle perfection!        She took one look at the skirt, it was a peculiar color to her. Purple but not quite. It was almost like a purple wine in her opinion lined with pleats in circumference, and tulle lots and lots of tulle! A squeal of delight was released from her mouth almost without her notice. As her lips parted to give way to a smile that could only be had when standing in a crowded store filled with other women in search of what she had just found!    In the girl's excitement she quickly yet ever so gently reached for the prize. My First Ballet Experience

"Ballet is like dreaming on your feet." -unknown    "A Midsummer Night's Dream"  I feel dreamy just talking about it. I can still see them so clearly in my mind's eye. Graceful dancing. Like swines they glided across the shiny wooden floor. Twirling and swaying to the rhythm of the soft music. I was instantly entranced. As I gleefully watched the Ballerinas in their sparkly attire leaping on their tiptoes, I thought I heard a faint sound beside me. It was a familiar ruffling. Like my dad snoring.       I thought to myself, surely I'm hearing things, how could my dad be sleeping while in the audience of such a splendid performance. I refocused my attention towards the show. The music had escalated during a scene that involved a sword fight! When suddenly there it was again, that ruffled sound of someone breathing while sleeping upright. I thought to myself that undoubtedly I know that sound.
